New Marketplace Store!

Previously, the Domaine Imperium store was combined with the .:UR:. (Upper Room) store in the Second Life Marketplace.  Now, however, to make the browsing and shopping experience more fluid we have disconnected the two stores to make Domaine Imperium's store it's own!  The prices and previous deals are all the same in this new store.  All new releases for Domaine will be updated and released here.

BDSM Short Story Contest!

Domaine Imperium is holding a BDSM themed short story contest!  We want you to write in with your ORIGINAL, steamy, sexy short story that will swoon anyone's wobbly knees.  There is a 2000 word limit on each entry.  (Plagiarism offenders will be flogged harshly in the courtyard then hastily cast to the abyss)

First place - 2000L

Second place - 750L

Third place - 500L

You can write as many entries as you wish, but only the best entries will be able to place. (No one will be able to win first, second, and third in a sweep of entries).  Judging will be done by a three judge panel based on qualities such as theme, skill, creativity, and enticement.

End date of entries will be June 27th, 2013 3pm SLT, and the reading will be voiced by surprise guest on June 28th 3pm SLT.

Mistress Day Dance

In lue of Mother's Day, Domaine Imperium is going to host a Mistress Day Dance!  The rules of this dance are very simple, instead of dresses and masks we ask our guest Dominants to wear what clothing best exudes their power.  You can have leather, latex, dresses, or naked if you feel that is how your strength is best reflected.  Given we are now on a full sim there will not be the restrictions of how many people attend.  We do ask that BDSM gear and high script items are kept off if all possible.  Lastly, we will have a strict no gesture policy for this and all future dances.  You can type claps and applause but please no spamming.

Domaine Imperium and Reflected Light

As Domaine Imperium strives to have the highest level of quality in Second Life, we have fully adopted the new light reflections!

To see this effect in action, you must have light reflections turned on as well as using the shadow technology.  Anyone else will see things rather shiny.  I know this will affect more than a few of our guests but Domaine was always meant to reward those of us who could handle  the higher settings.

BDSM B/W Couples Photography Contest Results!

Domaine Imperium has had it's first spring event, the results of which are astoundingly beautiful to say the least.  We had some real creative talent enter this contest and the results are something we would like to share with our community.

We'll release the theme for the next photography contest sometime in May if all things go according to plan.

Here comes spring!!!!!!!!!!

It's been rather cold in the U.S. with winter upon us and our sim has represented that with snow, ice skating, and the occasional flurry. But now we're tired of the cold and we'd like to invite everyone to come warm themselves in the beauty of Spring!

The reds, the yellows, the purples, and greens, all the beautiful colors of Spring can be found on the grounds of Domaine Imperium. The flowers will bloom, the waterfall will flow gently down the side of the mountain, birds will return to the sim to greet the warmer weather. And it will all be visible from the sim's multi-passenger rowboat where you and a loved one, or a particularly good friend, can enjoy a cuddle or a slow boat ride around the waters of Domaine Imperium.

"Be Mine...by Force" a recap

Domaine Imperium's "Be Mine...by Force" dance went off beautifully. Packed from the start, not a soul without a dance partner through the whole thing. The rules all followed to a T, it was an exhilarating experience for all wearing the badges, especially!

The singer, Anek Fuchs, was terrific with a strong, soulful voice through a wide range of beautiful love songs. Followed by DI's own resident DJ Carver Corona who filled the ball room with techno music to the end of the event, including a short stint in which many of the women in attendance actually ended up dancing on poles thanks to a delightful and much enjoyed loophole in the rules of the badges.

We were happy to see everyone having lots of fun and look forward to our next big event! Thanks to everyone that attended and especially to those that tipped!
